how to tell what version of access is being used

I am trying to determine what version of Access is being used from a file that I obtained from a user. Everything I clicked on does not say what version of Access is being used. The extension name of the file is .MDB. The original version of the file I am accessing was created in 2001. Thus would you tell me how to verify what version of Access I am working with?

type this into the immediate window

    ?version

    I have 2010 so it returns 14.0

    Other versionsI think)
    7: "95"
    8: "97"
    9: "2000"
    10: "2002"
    11: "2003"
    12: "2007"
    14: "2010"
    15: "2013"

I think that is telling you the version of Access you are working with (in your case 2013). That is, you have 2013 on your PC. When you try to open or link to an older database, I don't know if there is a way to know what version of Access created the original database.

    Update:

    I found this via google.
