    Report Grouping Problem

Hello, I am wondering if you can help me. I am doing a data base report for an assignment I am doing. I did a grouped report, and I have 3 room types, Then the next grouping was the room name and sales for that room. The room type, which there are 3 names as I mentioned, either duplicates the first room type, or is not there. I don't know why it does not show up. Are you able to help me at all?? Thanks if you can or can't.
    Bay Window
    Macdonald $ 550

    Ocean
    Demont $ 660

Ocean ( this should say Side, but it comes up as Ocean or nothing at all. )
    Price $ 500

I used the Report Wizard to do the grouping and this is what happens. Any help?

All tables should have a Primary Key that uniquely identifies each and every record in the table.
    Room has no Primary Key.

You have multiple records for the same RoomName

    Room Name Room Type CountOfRoomName
    Campbell Ocean 2
    Chretien Ocean 2
    Macdonald Ocean 3
    Mackenzie Bay-window 2
    Pearson Bay-window 2
    Trudeau Ocean 3

I don't think your database designed to meet your needs. It would be useful to readers if they could see the problem/assignment you have been given.

    Hope this info is helpful.

The Avg report shows all 3 room types.

Issue must be with Base report. Weird, the query is showing the records. The report errors opening in print Preview. Moving the BaseIncomeperRoom textbox to Room header (or move Room textbox to Detail section and delete Room group) eliminates the error but still doesn't show "Side". Don't know what's wrong with this report.

I created a new report bound to Reservations table.

Put the Sum calc in a textbox in the RoomType footer.

Set the Detail Section not visible.

No errors and all room types show properly.
