    Multiple criteria in same field

I have a query where one of the columns is the Fullname. In the design grid, I want to exclude two people.

On the first criteria row under the Full name column, I tried <>'Smith, John' And 'Russell, Stephanie' and it didn't work. Also tried double quotes and still didn't work.

I also tried <>"Smith, John" on the first criteria row and "Russell, Stephanie" on the second criteria row and that didn't work either.

    * On the first criteria row under 4 other column I have Is Null as a criteria. Not sure if this is interfering somehow.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Try

<>'Smith, John' And <> 'Russell, Stephanie'

It worked. Thank you. I was sure I tried that before, but I guess not. It's getting too late.
