Multiple items in the one order, but I'm so confused where do I start

Okay this is my problem
I want to have a form where I can enter for the one order, the date and multiple items
Each item will have

1. a name of the item
2. the number of items sent
3. who it is sent to
4. and postage method

fields 1, 2 and 4 will be a drop down list to select from

So where do I start? Do I make a table with field names 1-4 and another table with orderID and date??


I know I need a one to many relationship but have no idea/clue on how to do this. I know I need a sub form where I can enter the different item details in, but that's all

I have tried to do this but nothing I try seems to work like I need it to. And I am totally confused as I have never had to do this before
So any assistance will be gratefully appreciated and very helpful . I have searched the forum but I am unsure of the terms to use
