Main form and subform both as datasheets

Can't get both the main form and subform to display as data sheets. If the main form is a datasheet, the subform is not visible. If the subform appears as a datasheet, the main form is a form view displaying only one record. Is this a "feature" or am I missing something? (Haven't worked with Access in a decade.) - Thanks, Richard

Do you see +/- symbol in left margin of main form? This should show if you have established relationship in Relationships builder. The +/- would be clicked to expand/collapse the subdatasheet.

I never use forms set for datasheet/subdatasheet.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thank you. I never noticed the plus sign so it was working all along. I was expecting each form in a separate window (which would be easier to read). Is that possible?

Set main form for Continuous or Single view mode.

Continuous or single do not work but split form gives me what I want. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
