Selection from Combo Box to populate list

i used to use access on a basic level a long time ago and i need some help

I have a combo box with a list of writters in a table calls staff and i have a table of stock

I need the a list box to update with all cases in stock that have the writters name in the letter writer colloum

can you guys and gals help

The two methods discussed are the most commonly used. The first is simplest. Did you look at the sample db?
