    Sample Data Base Required

    Dear All,

    I want to create a simple data base, in which I have to record Payments received from each customer on daily basis. and on daily basis i want to generate a report for the transaction I have made. example of data table is as follow. payment mode is cash or bank transfer. your help is required that how to generate reports for day to day transaction.

    For starters, you'd need a date field like PaymentDate or whatever. Then create a query with a criteria on that field. I'd have it point to a form so the report could be run for any date. Then start with the report wizard on that query.

    now please guide me how to run query, what criteria to be used. and how to run report from a form for a specific date.

    @TommyK - If memory serves, Rs is a symbol for the Indian Rupee.

    @mirfanmalik - did you try creating a report and using the method from post 3 to open it filtered?
