    Cross Tab Query

    Hi,

I am using various cross tab queries to pivot up a dataset. Now I need to merge all the cross tab queries that I have created but somehow I am getting an error of column limit. I am using Access 2010. Can someone suggest if there is a way out to handle large dataset in Access.

PS: I need to display all the columns. The number of columns is close to 300.

    Thanks in advance!

access can't display more than 255 columns, if you need that many you may be better off exporting it to excel piece by piece or building a csv

Providing you don't need to mix up your crosstab columns and you design them so they have the same number of rows, you can create a form with a number of subforms side by side - one for each crosstab. Then you can synchronise them so as you scroll up and down, each row stays 'in line'. This gets over the column limit and (depending on your requirements) may provide opportunities for improved navigation
