    Online capabilities

Hello, I'm new to Access having to go this way as I have outgrown Excels capabilities with our pricing form.
It is much too time consuming and error causing to make changes.
I'd like to create one in Access and host it online for our dealers to access and price from.
Currently we only have 2007 and I was wondering if it is possible or do I need to upgrade to 2013?
One of the main issues is that with Excel we could not advance in newer versions of software too far ahead of what our dealers have.
It was a big headache just going to 2007 excel from 2003.
Does Access have compatibility issues like Excel does?

    thanks
    Mike

Yes Access is better for you for data than Excel,
But there's no need to upgrade the database to a newer version.
    They can read backwards.

If you HAVE to upgrade Access program to the new version, fine. BUT NO NEED TO UPGRADE THE EXISTING DATABASE.

Regardless of version, delivering live data 'online' to external users is not simple.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I didn't figure that I would be up to the task without taking some schooling. We will likely be hiring out the job.
