SQL Server vs. Oracle as a Back End to Access

Are there any disadvantages to using an Oracle DB as the back end to an Access application, as opposed to SQL Server? I am planning for a new application; the front end user interface will be developed in Access and the back end database could be setup in either Oracle or SQL Server. Oracle is the standard where I work and that is the choice our DBAs would prefer, however if SQL Server provides better compatibility with an Access front end I may be able to go that direction.

I've never used Oracle with Access, but I know a lot of people have. It's typically just a matter of linking using ODBC or using the appropriate connection string. I think you'll be fine using it.
