How to make update to database???

I have create one database with forms, reports ets. I split my db and giv it the front_end to users, back_end and put it on server. After some period i make some changes to db and to forms. How can i make now update to old db and forms but not to lose data?
I'm imagine this to be something like how windows is making update.

Since the application is split, you just create a new front end and distribute it. The data is in the back. One way to automate the distribution:
