Need some support with converting a Excel Equipment DB to a Access DB

I have created the following... (1) Front page

    Robotic Index
    Just Robots
    Fixture Index
    Only Fixtures
    Miscellaneous Index
    The Rest

    For my 2nd page....

Front End and Floor Assembly (Underbody)
Zone 13 Robots Min Zone 12 Robots Min Zone 2 Robots Min
    FFR1 0 FMR1 46 UBMR1 0
    FFR2 0 FMR2 0 UBMR2 18
    FFR3 0 FMR3 6
    FFR4 0 UBR1 0
    FFR5 0 RFR1 0 UBR2 0
    FFR6 3 RFR2 0 UBR3 0
    FFR7 0 RFR3 6 UBR4 4
    FFR8 0 RFR4 0 UBR5 2

Then for my 3de page for the first equipment "FFR1"

    UnderBody - Zone 13 Robot: FFR1
Failure Modes Description Down Time ICA
    3 Phase Cable 0
    Profibus Cable / Plugs 0
    Loom Pipe 0
    Communication Cable 0
    Fixed Adaptor 0
    Moving Adaptor 0
    Shunt 0

In shot (Main_Page), then (Equipment), then (Equipment_Failure_Modes). I'm not sure if a new Access DB should be created or that Excel DB can be converted into a workable Access model. Does anyone have a blue-print or similar BD model to share?

What is nature of this db? Is this manufacturing/assembly?

Perhaps this tutorial site will help http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/

    Hi June7

The first page is the inventory index, consisting of 3 groups, the second page is if I click on one of the 3 groups, and the third page is if I choose one of the objects (Equipment/Assets) on the second page.

The purpose of this database will be to track assets on page two when a fault happens (date, occurrence). The faults are displayed on page three.
I wish to create a form for the user to complete to automatically complete these fields in order to collect failure information for tracking and to identify constraints in the manufacturing process.

Will this be possible to achieve in Microsoft Access??

    Thanks

Sorry, I don't understand the data relationships. Suggest you complete the tutorial and draft up a data relationship schema - aka Entity Relationship Diagram. Post it for analysis.

Have you looked at the MS Desktop Issue Tracking database template?
