This is not an access question, (and I apologize for that), but this seems to be the only place where knowledgeable people actually offer advice...
I subscribed to Office 365. I recently had some issues with Excel, and finally had had to call MS for help... a difficult experience... It turned out that when I downloaded something to my computer (I think it was updates to Adobe Flash Player), I somehow got Excel 2007 on my computer too...
Well, I just looked at Programs & Features and I have Home Office 5.20.8 is on my computer... It was installed on 2/5/2015.
Sorry for all of the history... but do I need Home Office on my computer if I have Office 365?
