    Error While Opening .mdb file

    Hello,
    I'm getting error
"The Microsoft Office Access database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time."

I googled and tried many solutions but unable to solve this. I don't have any .ldb file to delete. I can't import data to another database. I can't compact and repair it.

Can anyone tell me the best solution for this.?

If you have a multi-user situation, you should be running a split database. More info here.

You may find some tips here.
You haven't told readers much about your environment, database and number of users.

    Good luck.

I have not been able to open it with Access(same error as you showed). I did look at it with a notepad type program, I can see a few names such as:
    CHARANSING THAKUR SING BHAVE
    SUREKHA RAMESH GOHAD
    IMTEYASBI HASAN KHA

It says there are 1684 lines and a total of 1323008 characters.

    I haven't seen this before.

Do you have a recent backup?

    Looks like major corruption.

I tried importing to a new dB..... no luck.

I tried the /decompile option..... same error message.

    Hope you have backups....
