Most of us would not try to store quantity on hand, we'd calculate it from transactions.

the problem here is that the "Quantity On Hand" have to be recorded because every item in my office warehouse is put there by quantity. For example Ream of paper 10pcs, Pen 50pcs, Poster sheet 60pcs, Printer catridge 50 pcs. So we need a table for the product name and the number of product in stock, and the Requisition slip is what the employee will use to request the number of supply they want for their department. This database will be on a server and all employees on my network will have access to the database "Requisition slip" to request supplies for office use. Help me out sir
You came here for advice and several knowledgable people have given you the same advice. We would not store the value, we would calculate it. You would have a transaction receiving 10 reams of paper when you buy it, another transaction issuing 2 reams to an employee. 10-2=8 on hand. If you wish to store it, the Allen Browne article gives advice on how at the end.
