several records for same person in table, combine all into one record

Is there a way to take several records I am pulling together into one query from 2 seperate tables and combine them into one record for everything matching the unique identifier?

So, Bob Jones have 4 entries, his unique identifier is is UserID bobjones. He is part of 4 groups; baseball, basketball, tennis and soccer. i have a record in the query for each of the 4 records, but I would like to end up with one field that shows me all in one field "baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer". Is there a way to do that?
