    weekly total

    I have a table with [Quote] ,[Entry_Date] and a [Total_Amount]

The [Quote] is the primary key. I am trying to add up the [Total_Amount] for all [Quote] by week.(Sunday to Sat of any given week)

I don't even know where to start here.

    Many thanks in advance

Check out the DatePart() function. You can add a field with that and group on it.
