Sorting in a list box

I am trying to sort names in a list box using the last name. My database will sort using memberID (my primary key), not the last name. So every time the user adds a new record, it lists them at the bottom my list, rather than in alphabetical order. Any suggestions?

The listbox can be based on a query that includes the desired sorting.
