Get rid of unwanted "blank" record at bottom of a tabular form.

I have a tabular form which has as its record source a query. The purpose of this form is to display information, not to let the user change it. I always see displayed an extra "blank" record at the bottom of the list of records. The record selector corresponding to the phantom record has the symbol "*" in it. I assume this is for inserting new records, which I don't want to do with this form. How do I get rid of the display of this "blank" record on the bottom?

Change the allow additions property of the form.
