Dlookup help to change CmdBtn Caption

Hi all,



Am looking for an easy way to update a caption on a command button. I thought this might work:

Me.CmdBtn01.Caption = DLookup("StockName","TblBarStock","NumericID = 1")

but alas no. If I could get this to work, it would save me a great deal of extra work!

Relax everyone, I just realised that it works fine, I was replacing the value with the same value from the table!! Once I changed the =1 to =57 it did the Dlookup perfectly!
