All you need to do is create the following folder and put the front end in it:

    c:\RPR Access\

then create the following subfolder called and put the backend into it:

    c:\RPR Access\BackEnd

I have attached a few screen shots to get you started but I'm sure you will be able to figure it out.

I have the frontend but the backend is too big for my slow internet. You would have to make a copy and delete most of the data.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I can't seem to reduce it much so I will break it into a "spanned" series of zip files that I created using 7-Zip.

I will post the link in a few minutes

    Regards
    Greg

I can't open 7-zip files, only Windows Compression zip.

Unless someone else wants to tackle this, or explain the issue so I can understand it, I guess you are on your own.

I am still not sure you really answered my question about purpose of the combobox. From what I can see in the images, the Part Name combobox is bound to field. This means the combobox is for data entry, not for just selecting filter criteria.

I looked again at the code in post 6. It doesn't make sense for a combobox RowSource to have criteria that refers to itself. It also refers to PartsID and PartID.

I see two comboboxes bound to the same field - PartID - which also doesn't make sense.

Every time I look more closely I get more confused.

    Hi June7

Yes, the combo box is for "data entry" as it allows the user to select a part from the Parts table to add to the workorder....

Thanks for your help so far.

    Regards
    Greg
