Exporting Report with SubReports not publishing to rtf Correctly

Here's the situation. I have a Report that has the following structure...

    Report Data1
    SubReport1
    Report Data2
    SubReport2

This report always works correctly when printing, previewing, and exporting to pdf format. However, when exporting to rtf format, if SubReport1 or SubReport2 span different pages, the result is corrupted. If SubReport2 goes to a new page, then the Page Heading on the second page is at the bottom. If SubReport1 goes to a new page, then in addition to the Page Heading on the second page being at the bottom, the ReportData2 is totally missing.

This happens with a docmd.OutputTo process and with a Preview, right-click, export to rtf.

Any suggestions or work-arounds would be appreciated.

That is what happens with complex reports exported to rtf or Excel. Really cannot control this.

If the report is too complex, how come it works perfectly in Print and Preview modes and can export to a pdf format perfectly. It is corrupt only when exporting to a Word document (rtf). Surely there is a fix or work-around, isn't there? Thanks, Eddie

Does similar thing when exporting to Excel, maybe not as bad but not pretty.

Because Print and Preview are features of Access report and PDF is just an image, not data, and application collaboration is less than perfect.
