Memo Field Cut Off - But Need Distinct Values

I saw another solved thread on this but have a bit of a problem. I have a report that is cutting the memo field off (treating it like text with char limit 255). I read the other thread on this and this website: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-63.html

I believe my issue is related to "uniqueness" - however I absolutely need to keep the values unique as I have forms building off of this query and need to make sure there are no duplicates. Is there ANY way around this so I can display the full memo?

I have another query that is pulling in the memo field correctly but everything else in my form (which I do not want to redo) is already linked to the problematic query. I guess my question would be if there was no way around displaying the full memo, is there a way to add a field in a report from another query that is different than the record source?

You have strings in the memo field that are identical for multiple records?

Maybe a subreport is needed.
