Access Unresponsive

Hi all,



I know this will be a broad issue to solve, but I'm running windows 7 with MS Access 13. I've been designing a database for awhile and have been unable to make progress over the last month due to more pressing issues and the holidays. I've started back to work on the database today and have found that I'm unable to edit anything in design view with something as simple as adding a button to a form as the program immediately becomes unresponsive and eventually needs to be force stopped. Is there something I can do to alleviate this problem or a way to investigate in order to continue on this database?

Sounds like corruption.

Does this happen with any edits of any object? Can you edit data in tables?

Did you try Compact & Repair?

Try creating new db file and importing everything.
