Roll Up Unique variable in near duplicate lines into one line?

I'm new to Access, so I hope that the title makes sense....

I am working with a fairly large report where near duplicate rows of data exist. Sort of like this:

Sales Associate Name Associate ID Department Sales Area
    Robert Smith 123456 Pets Brooklyn
    Robert Smith 123456 Pets Queens

I would like to roll up those two lines into one line, but I would like an additional Sales Area column added so it would appear like this:

Sales Associate Name Associate ID Department Sales Area1 Sales Area2
Robert Smith 123456 Pets Brooklyn Queens

I saw one of my co-workers do this once, but I can't recall how - possibly with min/max function?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Min/Max would work if there are only two 'near duplicate' records. What if Robert Smith also had a Bronx record? Would you want it to show in the output?
