    Date Range Problem

I have two Date Ranges to consider:

    1) Start Date - End Date

    2) Start Quarter - End Quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4)

If the range of (2) EXISTS - that is, not necessarily a complete subset - within the range of (1), then Q1, or Q2, or...etc.

I have a cartesian product set up to filter out all possibilities since (1) might have more than one possible outcome given (2).

I have no idea how to set this up in the Criteria section of a query, though.

    Any help is appreciated.

How about a couple of concrete examples with real dates and values for Q1-4?
    Why a Cartesian Product?
