    refresh update data problems

I am making a to do list form. On the form I have a 3 tab control with a subform on each to its own query. One tab shows all records (for overall editing), one shows completed tasks the last shows incomplete tasks.

When I edit or add a record in the show all tab and go to one of the other tabs I would like for them to be updated with the new info.

I have tried the different refresh macros on different controls but nothing happens. Any ideas on what I should do or any ideas on a more elegant overall approach? Something with a combo box instead of tabs or something?

    Thanks

Well, you would probably want to requery, not refresh. That said, I would probably not have tabs and multiple subforms. I'm thinking a single form or subform with a option group at the top, with 3 options: All, Complete and Incomplete. In the update event of that frame, change the source of the form or subform as appropriate to the choice.
