    Export to excel form data

    Hi everyone!

I'm brand new to to the forum. I have to design an access database, after a few years hiatus from any form of programming. I have to relearn almost everything beyond the basics so your help and assistance would be much appreciated.

First of all, do you have any recommendations on sources I could look into to update my access knowledge. .I understand the basics, but I mean the medium level stuff, referencing data and building adequate macros.

Here is the challenge I am currently trying to solve:

I have a form with three columns - user entered data A, B and C.

I need a macro that will take this; find the excel file located in folder "A", open it and enter in cells, B13 -- "B" and B20 --- "C". This must only executed for the current recording ( as a button to activate the macro).

I have figured out how to open to excel file and enter a line of text, but I need the specific entered data.

    Thank you!

I'm still stuck.. does anyone have any suggestion on how to proceed?

I remember exporting access table data to a specific word file a few years back. I have between 5 and 45 fields (worst case scenario), that I would need to export.

The next to simplest solution I have is to create a query with all the data. Have access export that in an existing template file (new tab) and then reprogram my excel template to read the values from this new tab .

Stuck in what? What happens - error message, wrong results, nothing?

    Post code for analysis.

This is already marked solved - is it?
