    Assigning Keyboard Shortcuts in Access

I am pretty sure that assigning keyboard shortcuts is fairly simple process, but I haven't been able to find any information on how to do this. For the database I working with, I want to add shortcuts that go to a new record, delete record, etc. As continually pushing a button gets a little trivial, please help.

Placing an & character in front of another character in command button caption (or it's associated label if button has image) will create a keyboard shortcut.

Alt+character will invoke the button Click event.

If there are no data controls to take focus, such as a 'menu' form, don't even need Alt.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
