    Fun with Drop-down lists.

    Hi All,

I'm new here so I'm sorry; I'm probably asking this in the wrong section.

Basically I'm trying to make a fast way of capturing the types of customer interactions myself and my team make on a daily basis.

I'm trying to build a form with two drop-down boxes and a submit button.
You choose an Item from Box A and it will populate Box B with a list associated with Box A's selection.
i.e one item may be Accounts, and it's associated list may have Payment, Refund, Balance. Another may be Technical, with Fault, Hardware etc

Then you'd click the submit button and it counts +1 to that selection.

Is this something that's doable(or even worth attempting) in Access or should I put my C++ hat on and head on down that road?

    Cheers,

Another tutorial on cascading comboboxes http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/f...combobox2.html. However, this will not work nice in form set to Continuous or Datasheet view.

What are you adding +1 to?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
