Importing Excel spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet that I'd like to import into Access 2010 however prior to the import, I'd like to delete some of the rows in the spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet only has one workbook.
It will likely always be rows 1-10.

I have already set up the Excel 14.0 Object reference, if that's even necessary

How can I accomplish this using either VB or query?

It might be, I'll have to examine in greater detail if that will suffice. With that said, I think I found a work around with a SQL query which at least doesn't throw an error when pulling the data. Then I can easily use access to dump those records.

The docmd.transferspreadsheet was throwing an error with importing the data.
If the SQL proves not be correct, I'll see if I understand what's going on with that link.
