    Form Date Range formatting

Does anyone have any suggestions on date range formats used in Forms?

I have attempted to create a form where I input several values. ID (mandatory Field), incident #, and a date range consisting of From date and To Date.

I recreated the form without the two date input fields and the form works with the query fine.
I am assuming that my syntax is not correct - it runs the query and brings back no values. I want to make the date range optional just as the incident #

The criteria for the FROM_DATE field within access is coded like below; however, I cannot get this to return any data. Based on my date in the table the ranges that i used should return data.

Between [Forms]![SearchForm1]![Begin Date] And [Forms]![SearchForm1]![End Date]

The text looks correct and should work
IF your form is called: SearchForm1

and your 2 date boxes are named: Begin Date and End Date (NOT THE NAME OF THE FIELD, THE NAME OF THE TEXT BOX)
(tho it is wiser to use names without spaces, txtBeginDate, txtEndDate , but you dont have to)

I use this method of date range on a form, everyday.
