    2002-2003 to 2007-2013 conversion

    Hi,
    I'm new to this forum.

I've my old db designed in access 2003, few years back, which I would like to open in access 2007 make changes and develop further.
I've managed to convert my old 2003 db to 2007 and able to see all the form and modules in both design and display modes including all VBA coding.
But for what ever reason I can not see/open all the tables. Import did not work either.
    Can anyone help.
    Thank you.

How did you do the conversion?

Did the database have workgroup settings?

    The forms are showing data?

    Is this a split design?

Do you want to provide the original 2003 file for analysis? Follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Hi,
Stripped my old db from all passwords using the old Access 2003 then opened, converted and saved using access 2007 on another pc.
No work group settings and the db was data less.......so no data and it was not split.
I can still open and work on it on my old 2003 version but can not fully convert it to access later versions.
    Many Thanks

Very odd. Never encountered issues with opening mdb files that were never encrypted. When we upgraded to 2007, no issues with my db. No experience with the workgroup environment and never encrypted any database.

I think I still have a copy of A2003 laying around and a spare computer (read old) to load it on. If you want to post the A2003 dB, I'll try and convert it to A2007 over the weekend...

    And welcome to the forum......
