Button on Individual Records Producing Details of Particular Record

I saw someones database today and they had a unique feature which I would find help.

Take a Multiple Items list and generate a series of records for it. Within each record is a button. When you click on the button, a small report pops up with more detailed information pertaining to that particular record.

I thought this was rather neat and I would like to utilize this for my own database.

Anyone know how to do this?

I presume they built a form and installed a command button in the detail section.

Can't you get a copy of their db and explore the design?

Here is another method. Double click on any control in the details section.
