Wink Last visit date in report

    Hello,

I am using Access 2010. My problem is this: I print client records (usually) one record at the time, and that works fine. Now I added a "Last Visit date" from a continuous form; the date shows up alright, but also all the other dates, so my one record print button prints ALL the records, in stead of the one I need.

    How can I change that?

I have looked online for a long time, but can't seem to find the answer.

P.S. I find the last visit date through the group by (Last).

    Hopefully someone can help me?

    Thanks!

Is the field [Last Visit date] on the continuous form , then you will see continous records.
If you want to print 1 client, make a 'detail' form to jump to from the continuous one, then print that 1.

    button click: docmd.openform "frm1Detail" ,,,"[id]=" & txtID

    Hello Ranman256,

Thank you for responding so quickly!
However, I am not sure what you mean with a "Detail" form.

I am trying to grab the last visit date from a continuous form (through the group by) and put it on my Report, but indeed all the visits show up for this client. I can print only the first record (with the right date) by going to Windows, print page 1, etc., but that makes my print report button basically useless.

Could you please give me detailed instructions of what you mean?

    Thanks!

I don't think I made myself very clear and give it another shot.

I have a main form with several subforms; one of these subforms is continuous. (Parent/Child relationships)
    They are accessed through tabs.

When I want to print a record of a client in a report, I do that with code, and it works great.
However adding a last visit date to my client record report makes to show all the dates/records of that specific client.

I am grateful to you for being willing to help me.
