    Report layout help

    I have a report in Access 2013 that Ihave grouped by a model column and then by a stock number column. Example: group first by Model then by stock number. The stock number is only one column. When I set it up this way I get a report with 500 single cells of stock numbers vertically. I would like to be able to set the width of my report and then have the next stock number show to the right of the first one and so on so that they would go across until the end of the page and then the next one in order would start on line 2 and list to the right if that makes sense. I have tried to put multiple columns on the report and have it read from left to right and then down but that doesn't seem to do what I'm trying to do.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My experience level with Access is amatuer and I have no VBA experience so easier is better for me.

    Sorry, not going to get easy.

    Unless you assign a sequence number to each stock number within the Model group so a CROSSTAB query could be generated, what you want requires VBA. Review

    I realized after setting up columns in page setup that the results will display horizontally in print preview but not in report view. Any ideas on how to solve that issue so that results will also show up in report view horizontally?

    I don't understand what you mean by 'columns in page setup'. Nor how results display horizontally in print preview but not in report view.

    What is the RecordSource query?
