    2 fields into 1 field.

I have a form where I enter information for the victim and the perpetrator. I want this to auto-populate if either the victim or the perpetrator information has been entered before even if they were not the victim before or not the perpetrator before. I also want to keep a contact log with the most recent information.
I'm thinking I may be going at the solution entirely the wrong way, but what I've done is created a people table, victim table, and perpetrator table. I use a DLOOKUP to pull up the info in my form. I'm trying to do an event after update to equate the two fields so that I maintain a current contact list but keep the address at the time of the incident as it was. The only thing I can get to work is auto-populate IF I pre-populate the people table.

How are these 3 tables related? What data is in each table? If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
