    VBA to transfer a file from one location to another

    Am trying to create a backup system for my databases. What i want to do is to have a command button which when validated, copies the BE of the db from say C:/Program Files/Mydb/Database_be.accdb to the location D:/DatabaseBackup. Before doing that, the database should be renamed to include the current date of the machine. Thanks in advance!

    Try intrinsic FileCopy() function.
