I am trying to concatenate two fields like this;
yearMonth: [monthPaid] & " " & [yearPaid]
But when I return to Query view, I am being prompted to enter a value for "monthPaid." Why?

Access can't find the field. Are you sure the spelling is correct?
What do you intend to use this field for?
