RunTime 2013 in an Office 2010 Environment

I have just designed and built a database for a client who at our first meeting talked about using office 2013 on their desktops.

Having now finished the Dbase and talked to them about getting the Dbase into use, it turns out that they can provide me with one PC with Access 2013 installed on it for everything i need to do, splitting the front end out etc.

Problem comes that for their call center agents to be able to use the dbase i need to load it locally on each machine and was planning on using Runtime.

So, my question is can i use Runtime 2013 as that is the version of Access the app was developed in, even though the rest of their Office Suite is 2010, or do i load run time 2010 and convert the database I have put together ( if this is possible) or.................

I don't want their IT team to install the runtime 2013 .exe file if it needs to be uninstalled and replaced.
    Hope this makes sense

If the database does not use features exclusive to Access 2013, 2010 environment should be able to run it. I am not sure that anything was added to 2013 that will not work in 2010 - I know stuff was removed from 2013.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I would install the RT version that matches their Office suite. The exception would be if you used Macro Objects in your app. The other thing to consider would be if you used some funny data types in tables but, like June mentioned, it is probably not an issue. Just make sure you have nice VBA compiled for the Runtime engine.

I have been using 2010 to develop apps for a little over a year now that run on XP and 2003. I will develop as accdb then convert to mdb. Right after the conversion I will do the final touches an old XP machine before I convert to mde and distribute the MDE file. The trick is to use basic features.

Thanks - There were a couple of lazy macros in there, close form etc. but I've now changed them all as a precaution so its just VBA for everything.
