    Form always opens to new record

    I have a report that displays on the screen. It contains a control that displays as a hyperlink. That control has an on click macro set to open a detail form for the record based on the value displayed in the control. When I click the control the form opens, but to a blank form for a new record.Any suggestions are appreciated.

    The link could say: docmd.OpenForm frm,,,,acFormAdd
    remove the acFormAdd and all the commas so it doesnt start in dataentry mode.
