    Post Partly sharing database

    Hey there,

//New to MS Access *pls bare*//

I got my list of database which needs to be shared with multiple vendors. Is there a possibilty that I share this in part wise? Or do I need to create subsets of databases individually?

What is 'list of database'? What do you mean by 'shared with multiple vendors' - you want to distribute? What do you mean by 'share this in part wise'?

    What is this database for?

Well, I meant was a database, which is in the list format. I want to share this database to my multiple vendors. Ex. say I want to share just a few parts of database to vendor1 and rest to vendor2. How do i do it?

By database you mean a table?

Could provide vendors an executable version of Access database (.accde file) programmed to open by default to a form that displays only their relevant records.

I meant use the database Options to set default form. The form RecordSource can be a query with a filter parameter.

Or make copy of db and delete irrelevant records - the 'subsets' you referenced earlier.

Thanks for your suggestion. I would still consider doing the second thing but that would increase the work which I do. Isn't it?

Any tool which has ability to share it without making multiple subsets??
