If No content in report fields then shrink report's record-area?

Hi Baldy,
I did indeed get this sorted out. It turns out that there was functionality built into the form design mode that permitted me to do what I wanted, I just needed to specify the correct fields in the detail section.

Minus the blur I added, the report looks great.
Now I'm onto the forms questions.
My first database swim is more difficult than I expected.
