Unable to edit report in design view

I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I am unable to edit a report in design view.
I downloaded a time and billing template to invoice customers for my labor. I'm happy with it except for the invoices, I want to edit them.
When I switch to the design view I can't see all the fields that are on the invoice to edit them. I have included screen shots of the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like there are subforms but they are sized so small, barely noticeable. I bet that's where your missing controls are.
