Page header creeps into second page

This is driving me nuts. I have a page header with a sub-report and I've made the background black. If I go to print preview all my data is okay on the first page. I look to see the continuation of my data on the second page but instead see the page header, I can tell by black color, creeping into page 2 by .25 inch or so. On page 3 I see the continuation of my data. I have my report in landscape and the width of my report is 10.25". It will not allow me to alter the width of the report. It's like the width of my page header is greater than the width of my report but I can't seem to change the header width.

It seems to be the page break. I put it in the record detail and then follow it with the remainder of fields that don't fit on the first page. Is this not the best way to do it?

A page break in Detail section doesn't make sense to me unless the only controls in Detail section are subreports (something I have done).

Where is the best place to put it normally? I have a sub-report in the page header but only fields in the detail.

Subreport in page header will show on every page. Is that what you want?

Why do you need a page break?

I don't really need one but it wasn't putting the remaining fields on the next page. They were just disappearing below the report.

What do you mean by 'remaining fields'? Don't understand 'disappearing below the report'. Is this possibly a report width / paper size issue?

I have 40 fields. They do not fit onto a portrait sized piece of paper. I don't understand how access determines what fields go on the "next" page. Should I be dumping all 40 fields into one report? Do I create a separate report for page 2?

I can't help unless I can review the report design.

    Attached DB

Attached. I've truncated a lot of the information out but if you look at the detail you can see all the fields. It looks like the first column continues onto the second page and then it starts at the top of the first.

No data because the tables are linked. Can't run report without data which means I can't see what you see. Make copy and import tables.

Thanks June. I sorted it out. I think the report got corrupt somehow. I re-created and it is as it should be.
