I had to reduce the listbox size because only have 4 records to work with. Yes, get scroll bar and Ctrl still does nothing. Correction, Ctrl + Up/down key moves to begin and end of list. Shift + Up/Down will select/deselect continuous records.

    OK I GOT THE PROBLEM!

i saw that you are on a windows 7 system, so i took my db to a windows 7 PC, and i see it works fine on windows 7, so i took it to a different windows xp computer, and i got the same problems as on my own XP computer, so the problem is the access on windows XP, somehow makes me problems.

now the question is WHY? and HOW CAN I FIX THAT?

So the issue is the OS - how quick we adapt. I have no memory of such an issue with XP. I expect the fix is upgrade to W7 or don't use Ctrl key.

Set the Multi Select property to Simple then just click each desired item.

Another correction, the Ctrl + click did select each item (Extended mode). Did not get the other behavior described.

Learning more about listbox. The Shift + click does not work the same way with Simple mode.
