from new tab - how to copy a form as new subform under new tab

You've heard this before, but I'm new to Access. I have a working form with 3 tabs. I've added a new tab, and would like to add a subform to the new tab. I have another form which is exacly what I'd like to show in the new tab window.



It would seem that I should be able to just copy the old form, and use it. Can't see how to do that.

Adding subforms to forms is only partially intuitive. You can
(1) Create a subform with the form wizard - I've never done this in 20 years.
(2) Copy a form from the object window and paste it on a form or a subform, but not to a tab control; then drag and size it.
(3) Drag a form from the object window and drop it onto a form or subform, but not to a tab control; then size it.
(4) Select a tab, be sure the tab is clearly selected, then copy and paste the form to the appropriate form tab control; then size it and the tab control

Note that I've experienced consistent database corruption when using "Conditional Formatting" on control on form tabs and then subsequently modifying the form or any control on it. Beware.
