Custom Report by date then time

I am trying to build a report in access that allows me to have my page header, and then report a daily header followed by that days hourly information. A template is attached. I have the report being queried by a form. The form queries for the ID and then the report pulls the information in regards to that ID. I do not have it specific by date yet. I am hoping to get some help on figuring out how I can get it to report in the form that I want. If needed or wanted, I can attach my mock up database.

Your query will have some [EventDate] field. (the date/time field)
Your report will need a group / sort on this field (show the head/footer) to sort by dates & times.
