How to find control source of a control in any Report

Hi Guys!!



I have a database setuped for me, in which there are so many tables, reports, forms and queries resides. I want to change some of the reports to suit my needs but the control source property of any control (i.e. text boxes etc) shows only names of the control or a field the data is coming from, My question is

How can i find that where that particular field is residing in a query or table. coz record source property doesn't mention where the data is coming from? It only shows fields names not the names of the table that field is in or name of the query that field belongs to. is there any work around?

When in report's design view, in the property sheet, select Report in the com box listing all the controls. Click on Data and check the record source. A name of Query/Table/SQL should appear here.

actually my question was that how will i know where this Edata in the example above is coming from? it doesn't show the table it belongs to or query or whatever it belongs to.

that should be a table or query in the database
