Setting and showing default value in a combo box

Hi there,

I'm trying to set and show a default value in a combo box - the setting part is easy, just how to show it. I've tried simple VBA in me.ComboBox.ItemData(1) but it doesn't show it when you type in new info into the field.

Any help appreciated thanks

Don't understand the issue. Default value shows for me.

Not sure why it's not showing, in the Data section on combo box button property I set the default value and I've even tried setting it in the table but not working. I'll try deleting it and try again.

Yub deleting it and adding it again - fixed it Just remembered only added default value after I added text box in form - so needed updated text box
